Kyveli Mavrokordopoulou is an art historian and curator working on nuclear technologies and the broader relationship between art and science. She is finishing a PhD at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS, Paris), with an Onassis scholarship, on the subterranean imaginary in contemporary art, especially concerning nuclear spaces. She has programmed and curated projects for institutions including Sonic Acts, Framer Framed, and the 7th Moscow Biennial. Recently she acted as guest editor of RESOLUTION Magazine Hot Pictures (2021) and Kunstlicht Nuclear Aesthetics (Vrije Universiteit, 2019). She has taught courses at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam, Esä in Dunkirk, and Carleton University in Ottawa. Mavrokordopoulou is an ARTWORKS curatorial fellow of the SNF Artist Fellowship Program in 2020–21.
